For our Bottega Veneta Cassette Bag study, we were drawn to a design so iconic it practically invites you to render it. The Cassette’s bold geometry and signature intrecciato structure offered the perfect canvas for exploring form, proportion, and material nuance. For this exercise, we reimagined the bag in a canvas textile, finished in Bottega’s unmistakable green—a way to honor the silhouette while experimenting with a fresh material interpretation.

The project became a focused exploration of texture, softness, and light interaction across woven surfaces. By balancing tactile realism with the bag’s sculptural presence, we aimed to capture what makes the Cassette timeless: simplicity elevated through craft, and design that feels inevitable.
