SEE CASE STUDY

Knoll, WOMB CHAIR

For the P790 launch, we partnered with TaylorMade to visualize the evolution of their iconic SpeedFoam™ technology and the unique weighting strategy behind each iron in the set. Our goal was to reveal the engineering inside the club while preserving the premium, understated feel the P-Series is known for.

Each iron was visualized individually, highlighting distinct internal weight positions and design decisions that shape ball flight, forgiveness, and performance across the lineup.

By combining technical clarity with elevated art direction, we helped TaylorMade tell a deeper product story—one that celebrates both the craft behind the club and the measurable advancements that define the new generation of P790 irons.

For our Knoll Fabrics study, we used the iconic Womb Chair as a canvas for deliberate practice—an exploration of how faithfully we could represent fabric in a fully digital environment. The project focused on material honesty: capturing the subtleties of weave, loft, color, and light behavior across Knoll’s broad textile library.

By re-creating the Womb Chair across dozens of fabric variants, we pushed our rendering pipeline to deliver nuance at every scale—from macro fiber detail to the soft, lived-in character of the upholstery. The result is a visual system that celebrates both the chair’s timeless design and the expressive potential of its materials, demonstrating how digital craftsmanship can honor—and elevate—physical craft.
